life can throw snags!

Well the tenth month has been very interesting to say the least! But we survived and learned many new things. We strive to get as much out of anything we do, you never know when you may need to use it in the future! Well our October has been like this...

We started with our Girl Scout back yard camp out! They had so much fun. We had hot dogs and chips. We sat by the camp fire and made s'mores, We learned how to do 4 knots. We got all cozy in our sleeping bags and woke to girls bouncing on the trampoline and giggling.  The girls had so much fun. We the leaders were excepting only a handful to participate but we were fooled. EVERY single girl showed up! All the parents said a free night heck ya. Poor Ms. Rebecca and I were amazed they all showed up. Most of these girls had not really been away from there parents.  As the parents dropped them off they were like we will be waiting for a call. I will have you know NOT one of the girls asked for there Mommas'! Guess they had a great time.

October has brought us a new driveway. We had a busted pipe in the drive way it messed up drive way pretty bad but having a new drive way made it worth while. Praying the pipe don't bust again!

The girls played awesome soccer! I forgot camera go figure!!! Hoping to get pictures soon!!!

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.”
